Georgetown Masters has a history of excellence and innovation in audio technology. Using the finest esoteric equipment and constantly evaluating new products, Georgetown has an unmatched selection of the world's greatest tools. Well known for our part in developing and launching new technologies such as the HDCD format, Pacific Microsonics converters and the Sony PCM-9000 Magneto-Optical recorder, we are often the first to adopt the latest innovations. Our close involvement with forward-looking developers allows us to continuously extend our vintage and state of the art arsenal.

We use a variety of digital audio workstations, including SADiE 5, Sonic HD, Sonic USP, and Sonic SSP.

Our speakers are made by Nova, SLS, Dynaudio, NHT, and KRK, among others.

Georgetown's audiophile monitor path utilizes Nordost cables with Pass Labs' flagship X-1000 monoblock and X-5 multichannel amplifiers. We also utilize amplifiers and preamplifiers from makers such as Symphonic Gold, Krell and Threshold, as well as custom-built amplifiers and preamplifiers.

With seven Pacific Microsonics Model Two and three Pacific Microsonics Model One analog to digital and digital to analog converters, we have the ability to handle any project, stereo or surround, at any sample rate with quality and resolution that is second to none.

Technology 3Technology 4

Our customized analog console is used in conjunction with equalizers from makers such as Sontec and GML and dynamics processors from Requisite, Manley, Crane Song, API and Fairchild amongst others.

On the digital side, we have a plethora of tools available at our disposal. Our workstations are equipped with Cedar Retouch and the Waves Diamond Bundle. We also use dedicated digital hardware such as the TC-Electronic System 6000, fully loaded with the Massenburg MDW Hi Res EQ and Unwrap processing, and enough Waves L2 limiters for any surround or stereo project.
