Technology

Georgetown Masters has a history of excellence and innovation in audio technology. Using the finest equipment and constantly evaluating new products, we have an unmatched selection of the world’s greatest tools.

In order to always maintain the highest audio integrity, all parts of our signal path have been selected through rigorous listening tests and evaluations. With digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital converters by Pacific Microsonics and Lavry Engineering, we have the ability to handle any project, stereo or surround, at any sample rate with the highest possible resolution.

Our custom analog console is comprised of equalizers from makers such as SPL, Millennia, Sontec, and GML and dynamics processors from API, Requisite, Manley, and Crane Song.

On the digital side, we have a wealth of tools at our disposal. Our workstations are equipped with Cedar Retouch and the Waves Diamond Bundles. We also use dedicated digital hardware, such as the TC-Electronic System 6000, fully loaded with stereo and surround Massenburg plug-ins and Unwrap processing.

We have a variety of digital audio workstations, including SADiE 5, Sonic HD, Wavelab, Pro Tools, and Nuendo, along with multiple in-house ATR 1/2″ and 1/4″ tape machines.

Our monitor path utilizes Nordost cables with Pass Labs’ X-1000 monoblock amplifiers, and our speaker selection includes designs by Nova, Dynaudio, and NHT among others.
